It all starts with the cocoa bean. Having been around for 200 years, Cailler is Switzerland’s oldest chocolate brand. Our group was fortunate enough to take a chocolate making class. Led by a chocolatier, we learned the art of tempering and ganache-making to create our own chocolate bars to take home to friends and family. There’s definitely an art to it, but it wasn’t as difficult as I expected. Once I find the right YouTube video, I’d give it another whirl to create some homemade chocolate from my own kitchen. Another fun idea to do with kids or even on a group date night.
